Description
Description
The Jacquard Cyanotype Paper 30 Sheet Pack (8.5" × 11") provides an easy and exciting way to explore the historic cyanotype printing process. Cyanotype is one of the earliest photographic techniques, developed in the 19th century and known for producing distinctive deep blue “Prussian blue” images through exposure to sunlight or ultraviolet light.
Each sheet in this pack is pre-sensitised and ready to use, allowing artists, students and educators to create photographic-style prints without the need for darkroom equipment or chemical mixing. Simply place objects, leaves, stencils or photographic negatives onto the paper, expose the sheet to sunlight, then rinse in water to reveal the blue image.
This process creates detailed photograms and blueprint-style prints, where the exposed areas turn blue and areas blocked from light remain white, capturing the shapes and textures of the objects placed on the paper.
The pack contains 30 sheets of 8.5" × 11" pretreated paper, making it ideal for classroom projects, art workshops, photography experiments and creative craft activities. Cyanotype printing is widely used by photographers, printmakers, textile artists and educators to explore alternative photographic processes and light-sensitive materials.
With its simple process and dramatic visual results, Jacquard Cyanotype Paper offers a fun and accessible way to experiment with photography, nature printing and mixed-media art.
