Description

The G34 Bailey Wheel has been engineered to provide outstanding performance, reliability and comfort for both professional potters and educational ceramics studios. Combining a compact footprint with advanced motor technology, it offers exceptional torque, smooth speed control and an ergonomic working position for long throwing sessions.

Unlike conventional pottery wheels, the Bailey Wheel features a higher wheel-head position, designed to complement the European style of throwing. This elevated working height promotes improved posture and greater comfort, reducing fatigue during extended use.

At its heart is a powerful ½ HP drive motor controlled by a computer-enhanced Variable Frequency (VF) drive. Under demanding conditions, the system can deliver the equivalent of up to 1 HP peak power, maintaining smooth, consistent torque across the entire speed range. The result is precise speed control, effortless centring and exceptionally quiet operation, even when working with heavier clay loads.

The Bailey Wheel also incorporates a large one-piece splash tray, making cleaning quick and simple while helping to keep the workspace tidy. Its robust British-built construction makes it ideal for colleges, universities, production studios and professional ceramic workshops where durability and reliability are essential.

The wheel can also be customised with a range of optional accessories, including a fitted seat, shelf unit, shaft extension to increase wheel-head height and a reversing switch, allowing users to configure the wheel to suit their preferred working style.
