Description

A Felt Mat for the 250mm Etching Press (26.8 x 42 cm). The wool felt blanket helps to transfer pressure from the press to the printing contact area and helps the paper to push into the uneven plate surface picking up ink from the intaglio grooves. Made from 100% wool felt. Every now and then the blanket may need a wash which can be done by hand in cool water with a gentle detergent, ensuring the blanket is dried flat.
