BOTZ PRO BRUSH-ON GLAZE 200ML

The brush-one glaze is a popular choice for tableware designs, and can be used to create beautiful stoneware, earthenware, and porcelain pottery pieces. Botz recommend (from 1200°C) in high firing for tableware, clays are almost always sintered and hence the dishes are suitable for food, so therefore the glaze can be applied to your tableware without any worries.

Extremely easy to use in a broad firing range from 1020°C to 1280°C (cone 05-04 to cone 8-9)

• At 1050°C the glaze is very colourful and almost opaque. Apply 2-3 glazing coats.
• At 1150°C the glaze is vibrant in colour with a semi-transparent surface. Apply two glazing coats.
• At 1250°C the glaze is glassy, semi-transparent with intensive pastel shades, which is fabulous on porcelain clay. Apply two glazing coats.

Good to know:

• Works in combination with underglaze colours.
• Colours can be mixed to create a unique palette.
• Will flow more at a higher temperature.
• Suitable for Earthenware, Stoneware, Porcelain
