DERWENT INKTENSE BLOCKS TIN 12

These water-soluble ink blocks combine the versatility of Derwent Inktense pencils with the freedom of blocks, opening up an exciting world of vibrant washes, lively strokes and infinite possibilities.

They are perfect for covering large areas and creating free and expressive marks. When water is added, rich intense colours are released, giving a pure and translucent ink-like effect. Once dry, inktense becomes permanent and can be worked over without affecting the layers of vivid colour.

Inktense Blocks can be used in several different ways;
- Drawing directly with the side of the block to cover large areas then applying water
- Drawing with the corners for more detailed work
- Dipping the block in water and working on wet paper
- Using the block like a paint pan with a paint brush
- Dissolving in water to create ink-like pigments using a grater

This tin contains 12 blocks in Sun Yellow, Tangerine, Poppy Red, Fuchsia, Deep Indigo, Sea Blue, Teal Green, Apple Green, Leaf Green, Baked Earth, Bark and Ink Black.
