Description
Description
The Fireworker 68 Litre Front Loading Kiln is a robust and reliable electric kiln designed for ceramic artists, educational environments and professional studios. With a 68-litre firing chamber, it provides generous capacity for pottery, ceramic sculptures, glaze tests and small production runs.
Manufactured in Stoke-on-Trent, the historic centre of the British ceramics industry, the kiln is engineered using high-quality materials to ensure durability and long-term performance. The chamber is built with low thermal mass insulation brick backed by high-grade insulation boards, improving heat retention and energy efficiency while maintaining stable firing conditions.
Heating is provided by Kanthal A1 elements embedded in the grooved brickwork of the side walls and floor, allowing even heat distribution throughout the chamber. The kiln also features a brick-to-brick door seal, offering superior durability and heat retention compared with traditional fibre seals.
For precise firing control, the kiln can be equipped with the CERA-10 programmable controller, allowing users to create multiple firing programs with adjustable ramp speeds, target temperatures and hold times. This flexibility makes the kiln suitable for a wide range of ceramic and glass firing processes.
Additional safety and operational features include dual contactor protection, over-temperature monitoring, a door safety interlock switch, and roof and flue vents with manual damper to assist ventilation and cooling during firing cycles.
With its strong construction, efficient insulation and advanced control options, the Fireworker 68 Litre Kiln offers dependable performance for regular studio and classroom use.
