Manufactured in Stoke-on-Trent, the historic centre of the British ceramics industry, this kiln is constructed to deliver long-term durability and reliable performance. The chamber features two-layer insulation, combining high-quality grooved insulation brick with backup insulation boards, helping maintain even temperatures while improving energy efficiency.

The kiln uses Kanthal A1 heating elements embedded in the side walls and floor, ensuring consistent and uniform heat distribution throughout the chamber during firing cycles. A brick-to-brick door seal improves heat retention and eliminates fibre seals that deteriorate over time.

For precise temperature control, the kiln includes a CERA-10+ programmable controller, capable of managing multiple firing programs and segments with adjustable ramp speeds, target temperatures and hold periods. This provides excellent flexibility for firing ceramics, glass and other heat-treatment processes.

Safety features include dual contactors, over-temperature monitoring, a door safety interlock switch, and roof and door vents for ventilation, ensuring safe operation in busy studios and educational environments.
