CONTEM UNDERGLAZE BRUSH ON 500GM

CONTEM Brush-On Underglaze (500g) is a high-quality, ready-to-use decorative ceramic colour designed for consistent application and vibrant results. Suitable for use on leather-hard clay (greenware) or bisque-fired ware, these underglazes provide excellent coverage and colour stability across a wide firing range.

The smooth brush-on consistency allows for controlled application, fine detail work, layering, and decorative techniques, including sgraffito and slip decoration. When left unglazed, colours fire to a soft matt finish; when covered with a clear transparent glaze, they develop enhanced brightness and depth.

These underglazes are compatible with both earthenware and stoneware clay bodies and are commonly fired between approximately 1000°C–1280°C depending on clay and glaze pairing. Always test before full production runs.

Application Tips:

• Stir thoroughly before use
• Apply 2–3 thin coats for even coverage
