The Jacquard SolarFast Film 8 Pack (8.5" × 11") is a high-quality transparency film specifically designed for producing photographic negatives used in SolarFast sun printing, cyanotype printing and screen printing applications. These sheets allow artists to convert digital images into film negatives that can be used to create detailed photographic prints using sunlight or UV exposure.

The film is compatible with standard inkjet printers, enabling artists to print digital images, photographs or graphic designs directly onto the transparency sheets. Once printed, the film negative can be placed on coated fabric or paper and exposed to sunlight, allowing light-sensitive dyes or cyanotype chemistry to develop the image.

A unique feature of SolarFast Film is its waterproof coating on one side, which prevents damage when placed on damp dye-coated surfaces during exposure. This allows the film negatives to be reused multiple times without absorbing dye or producing uneven prints.
