AZOCOL Z1 Screen Printing Emulsion is a versatile Diazo-UV polymer (dual-cure) photoemulsion designed for producing high-quality screen printing stencils. Its resistance to both water and solvents makes it suitable for a broad range of screen printing applications, including work with water-based and solvent-based printing systems.

The emulsion offers excellent copying characteristics and good reproduction of fine details and halftones, making it particularly useful for graphic screen printing and other applications requiring accurate stencil definition. Its resistance is only minimally affected by high atmospheric humidity, helping maintain dependable stencil performance under varying workshop conditions.

AZOCOL Z1 can be coated manually or by machine and is designed to be easily decoated after use despite its high resistance. This makes it a practical all-round emulsion for educational printmaking departments, professional screen printing studios and production environments.

The Diazo No. 6 sensitiser is supplied separately and must be added to sensitise the emulsion before use. This product is supplied as a 4.5kg pack, making it particularly suitable for studios and departments with regular or higher-volume screen preparation requirements. KIWO's technical information identifies AZOCOL Z1 specifically as being sensitised with Diazo No. 6.
