Description

Please note that 'Cool Melt' does not mean that the glue sticks are cold in operation. It means that the temperature that the glue melts at, 135°c, is lower than the 'Hot' melt glue gun sticks, that melt circa 200°c.
Although both temperatures are still high. Cool Melts tend to be safer to use due to their lower temperature and reduced risk of burns, they are also used for heat-sensitive materials like polystyrene which a Hot Melt alternative would likely melt – Cool Melts also require a specific type of glue stick which melts at the lower temperature.
