The ultimate aprons, made from 10oz heavyweight splash-proof canvas, dyed to a stylish ‘navy’ colour. Ideal for pottery and ceramics work as well as painting of all styles, there are 2 deep pockets, 1 shallow pocket and 5 openings for brushes. Each apron measures 80cm x 57cm, with 2 side straps 100cm length each and an adjustable neck strap.

Blue Acorn Orthopedic Canvas Apron

Building on our 'apron' making skills and listening to our customers, Blue Acorn are now making an 'orthopedic' friendly apron that uses a simple eyelet system and two supportive straps that don't pull on your neck, reducing fatigue and increasing comfort. The straps can be passed over your shoulders and crossed behind your back for extra security. There is a choice of three different height settings meaning artists of all shapes and sizes will be able to get a comfortable fit. The apron is constructed from a heavyweight 10oz dyed canvas, that is splash-proof. There are four large pockets - a chest pocket that works well for glasses or phones, and three larger pockets lower down. This really is the apron of aprons!

Blue Acorn Duck Canvas Roll Unprimed 

Blue Acorn have added a third weight of cotton canvas to our extensive range. This time it is an intriguing 12oz 'Duck' unprimed canvas on either 5m or 25m rolls, width of 183cm. Our heaviest weight, premium canvas, is made using 100% cotton duck material and the braided yarns are tightly-woven into a "half-panama" pattern for a more pronounced tooth. The heavier weight creates a consistent and uniform weave and an enhanced stability & support, unseen in standard canvas.

The canvas can easily be cut to size & folded, to create any uniquely-sized framed canvas. This is a cost-effective option for professional artists, teachers/students & anyone looking to work on large or unusual projects.

Cotton 'Duck' is a term that refers to the 'weave' of the canvas - it is a heavy, plain woven cotton fabric and is more tightly woven than plain canvas. 'Duck' canvas is not derived from our friendly and lovable anseriformes friends! Please do not get confused.
