SAFEPRINT FOAM 25 SHEETS

Safeprint Foam is an ideal material for introducing students to printmaking and relief printing. The soft surface makes it easy to create patterns, drawings, lines and textures by pressing or drawing directly into the foam using an impression tool, ballpoint pen or objects with interesting textured surfaces.

Unlike traditional lino, no sharp cutting tools are required, making Safeprint a practical and accessible option for classroom printmaking. Once the design has been created, the sheets accept water-based printing inks and can be inked using a roller before transferring the image onto paper for excellent printing results.

The material is also ideal for experimenting with texture. Everyday objects and textured materials can be pressed into the surface to create different marks and effects, encouraging students to explore pattern, shape and image-making through print.

Both sizes are 3mm thick, with a choice of standard A4 sheets or a larger square format depending on the project. Ideal for schools, colleges, art departments, workshops and introductory printmaking activities.
