Hahnemühle Cappuccino & Grey Books
Two interesting new sketch books from Hahnemühle, both with unique paper to create stunning artwork.
With its light-brown paper, the 'Cappuccino' sketchbook reminds of a cappuccino with fresh froth. It is the ideal choice for warm shades of colour and on the restrained background, colours stand out well and shine gently. By setting white accents, you can create wonderful contrasts. The smooth sketch paper, with its closed surface, is perfectly suited for working with Indian-ink pens, fountain pens and acrylic markers, as well as other water-based pens with minimum abrasion.
The dark-brown cover of the sketchbook nestles smoothly in your hands. Firm and discreetly grained, it feels like real wood. Bound in several layers and thread-stitched, all the pages sit solidly and allow the artist to work on two pages, across the centre seam. A brown bookmark ribbon completes the premium-quality features.
With 40 sheets / 80 pages featuring 120 gsm, The Cappuccino Book is slim and an ideal companion if you are on the road or travelling. At the same time, it comes with enough reserves for many subjects. Available in A4 and A5, acid-free and with a high level of longevity.
The 'Grey paper' sketch book is an exciting addition to the Abacus range and is perfect for working with ink, pencils, fine liners, acrylic markers, Posca markers as well as other water-based pens.
The smooth, grey 120gsm paper is of a very high quality, acid-free, having an almost glossy surface and is non-absorbent making it suitable for light washes. As it is a mid-tone paper, it allows for dark tones and highlights.
The sketch book has 80 pages and is thread stitched and bound making it possible to work on two continuous pages across the centre seam. Has a red bookmark ribbon and textured anthracite coloured cover. Available in A4 & A5.
Perfect for urban sketches and bringing out the best of your Posca markers.
